This Cookie Policy explains how insiderOne ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you use CareerOS. By using CareerOS, you consent to our use of cookies as described here.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your login session, to make the site work correctly or to understand how it is being used.

We also use similar technologies including localStorage, sessionStorage, and service worker caches to deliver the CareerOS Progressive Web App experience.

2. Cookies we use

2.1 Essential cookies (always on)

These are required for CareerOS to function. You cannot opt out of these.

These help us understand how CareerOS is used so we can improve it. They are only set if you consent.

2.3 PWA storage (service worker cache)

CareerOS is a Progressive Web App. Our service worker caches static assets (JavaScript, CSS, icons) under the key careeros-v1 to enable offline use and faster loading. This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.

You can clear this cache at any time from your browser's site settings.

3. Third-party cookies

Some features of CareerOS use third-party services that may set their own cookies:

Supabase: authentication and database. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare: CDN and DDoS protection. May set security cookies. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts: font delivery. Requests are sent to Google's servers when the app loads. See Google Privacy Policy.

4. Managing cookies

You can control cookies in the following ways:

Browser settings: most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent CareerOS from working correctly. Refer to your browser's help documentation:Chrome Firefox Safari
localStorage / sessionStorage: clear from your browser's DevTools → Application → Local Storage → insiderone.in.
Service worker cache: clear from your browser's site settings or DevTools → Application → Cache Storage.
Account deletion: deleting your account removes all server-side data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as we add new features or third-party services. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
